Presentation Title:
Risk and reward: taking on a failing school
Details:
School improvement in a failing school. The balance of keeping existing schools triggered whilst taking capacity to improve a failing one is a risky business and delicate balance to achieve. I’d like to speak about both the risks and the rewards of this situation.

Thank you for taking the time to listen. I’ll be around on Twitter @sajid_gulzar to respond to comments & take questions. This topic was also discussed in some depth in this podcast: https://www.weareinbeta.community/posts ... and-reward

Would you include school librarians among your non-teaching experts> Or do you see them as teaching staff?

Great question. I think librarians can be both & we have certainly utilised them in that way over the years
