Presentation Title:
How to teach coding with Rubik's Cubes: exploring the PRIMM model in Computer Science
Details:
I will introduce two models of learning, one being the PRIMM model that is currently popular among computer science teachers, and one created by Charles Owen in the 1990s that describes learning for "design", and relates to it many subjects. I will discuss the possibility of Owen's model simulating PRIMM, and the applications PRIMM may have outside of the computing classroom.
